Strike! MCR reading group: Workers Can Win!
Strike! MCR are running a fortnightly in-person reading group for Workers Can Win! in Manchester.

Finance should not be a barrier so we have a budget to ‘gift’ reading group members an e-book copy. Please indicate in the sign up form if this will help.
Session format: One person will ‘lead off’ on the chapter for a short period followed by group discussion with some workshops associated with session chapters.
- Tues 24th Jan – Session 1 – Chapters 1 & 2 (Introduction to book and Why Organise at Work)
- Tues 7th Feb – Session 2 – Chapters 3 & 4 (Starting Out & Servicing, Advocacy, Mobilising and Organising)
- Tues 21st Feb – Session 3 – Chapters 5 & 6 (Choosing and communicating about issues & How to Organise)
- Tues 7th March – Session 4 – Chapters 7 (Using Your Rights)
- Tues 21st March – Session 5 – Chapters 8 & 9 (Planning Action & Industrial and Direct Action)
- Tues 4th April – Session 6 – Chapters 10-12 (Management and mischief, Dealing with your Union & Overcoming Difficulties and limitations)
Feel free to attend as many as you can – attending on an ad hoc basis is absolutely fine!
